A. A
web page does not have any strict confines. The width is designed to
fit a range of monitor sizes and the length of the page will vary according
to the content. Generally the page will be between one and two screen
lengths but can be considerably more. Different browsers will display
pages slightly differently and the printing out of web pages will also
vary
from browser
to browser
and version to version. For this reason it is not possible to produce
a web site that prints out precisely over a series of A4 pages, although
it is possible to create individual versions of pages that are printer
friendly and which are
formatted
to print out on single A4 paper.
